Superintendent's Message

Dear Families: This has been an unusual and challenging year. While so much has changed, we are continuing some important district events, virtually of course. Families with children in transitional grades are exploring our schools at our first-ever virtual enrollment fair and our elementary and middle schools are planning for parent-teacher conferences next week.

I also know that there are a range of feelings about in-person learning during the pandemic. I want to assure you that our District is working diligently on plans for reopening schools. You can view progress updates on our school reopening dashboard, and learn about how we’re preparing buildings for reopening in this video. If you have questions about how we’re preparing schools, I invite you to share them here.

Warmly,
Dr. Vincent Matthews
