Wellness Tip From a Yoga Teacher:

Try Mini Sun Salutations! They are a way to celebrate the changing seasons and to find calm during a busy day. Pause at each step and breathe.

  1. Start in Mountain Pose. Stand with your legs shoulder-width apart and bring your arms to your sides.
  2. Raise your arms up above your head.
  3. Bend over at your waist and let your arms hang down in Forward Fold.
  4. Place your hands on the floor (knees can be deeply bent) and walk your feet back into a Downward Dog posture.
  5. Walk your feet back toward your hands. Find Forward Fold again.
  6. Slowly roll up to standing. Mountain Pose.

Exercise within your limits. Never force, strain, or practice through pain. Seek medical attention and advice as appropriate.
