Have a great Winter Break! |

Winter Break is just a few short weeks away and it’s hard to believe the school year is nearly half over. Here at SFUSD, we strive to provide inclusive schools for all students all year long, although one of the most special weeks is upon us right now – Inclusive Schools Week.
At SFUSD, we value and seek to understand the diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and lived experiences of our students, families, and staff. With the global rise of anti-semitism and Islamophobia, Inclusive Schools Week is a time to celebrate the heart of what public schools are about: in SFUSD we include everyone—and I mean everyone—in our classrooms and our schoolyards.
Read below for more information about Inclusive Schools Week and join us to foster a culture of inclusivity in celebration of the diverse student population who we serve every day.
In Community,
Dr. Wayne

Inclusive Schools Week (Dec. 4-8)
This annual event is an opportunity for students, families, and staff to come together to honor students with disabilities as full members of school communities. As part of Inclusive Schools Week, SFUSD has created an Inclusion Website and a Resource Guide which can be used for inspiration during Inclusive Schools Week and to increase inclusion, ability awareness, and sense of belonging all year long. |
