I'm pleased to report that the Board of Education has completed their superintendent search, following a thorough and thoughtful process. You can learn more below about Dr. Vincent Matthews, the Board's chosen finalist for this critical role. Dr. Matthews is a strong instructional leader who is committed to SFUSD and our core values. He's also a San Francisco native who grew up attending our schools and served as both a teacher and school principal here. It has been an honor to serve our district as interim superintendent this year, and I look forward to working with Dr. Matthews as our next leader.

—Myong Leigh, Interim Superintendent
